Challenge your need for certainty. Ask yourself:

• What are the advantages and disadvantages of certainty?

• How much can you be certain about in life?

• Do you assume bad things will happen because of uncertain outcomes?

• What is the likelihood that bad things will happen?

Learn to accept uncertainty

• Identify your uncertainty triggers

• Recognise when you feel the need for certainty

• Allow yourself to feel the uncertainty

• Let go

• Shift your attention
