I'm feeling depressed. What should I do? What help options or therapy is available for me?

If you feel that your mental health has not been at its best lately, you can take a self-assessment, which includes a widely used and validated depression scale, PHQ-9, to determine the level of severity for your depression issue.
If your result indicates that you are experiencing some depression symptoms, you can approach a qualified professional for a more detailed assessment and/or diagnosis. He/she will be able to advise you on any intervention or treatment needed.
Users also have the option to chat with Wysa, an emotionally intelligent AI chatbot, to experience talk therapy. For individuals who are new to counselling, speaking with Wysa can help build courage and confidence for speaking with human therapist. You can also access other resources such as helplines and other counselling services through the ‘Get Help Now’ feature on mindline.sg.
Do note that our self-assessment tool, as with all other mental health tests, is a screening tool to help you make sense of your feelings to direct you to the right help. The result does not serve as a clinical diagnosis.
