Multitasking can leave you less focused and efficient than you may think. When multitasking, your mind needs to adjust to a shift in focus and you're more prone to losing your train of thought.
Multitasking can work when you do a task which requires focus while doing another task that is mainly done on ‘auto-pilot'.

Utilise ‘chunking' - setting aside chunks of time to focus on one specific task, while minimising interruptions and grouping similar tasks together
